Sanemetrix is an industry-specific psychometric assessment platform used by employers, ship management companies, crewing agencies, airlines, hospitals, schools and corporate HR teams to evaluate candidates and serving professionals before hiring, promotion or deployment. Every assessment combines four scientific modules — a 16-factor personality profile, an industry resilience module built around the real operational pressures of the candidate's sector, the VIA classification of 24 character strengths across six virtues, and clinical mental-health screening using the PHQ-9, GAD-7 and CD-RISC instruments — 323 questions completed online in about 60 to 80 minutes, with progress saved automatically.
Results are delivered as a decision-first clinical report: a role-fit percentage scored against role-specific ideal profiles, a response-validity (verification) score that detects careless or socially desirable answering, composite Team Alignment, Leadership and Work Orientation indices, the candidate's signature character strengths, and a mental-health screen with a dedicated self-harm indicator. Each report is electronically signed by the assessing psychologist and carries a scannable QR code that verifies the report's authenticity against the stored assessment record. Results are valid for six months from the date of assessment.
Sanemetrix began at sea. Ship managers, owners and crewing agencies use it to assess masters, officers, engineers, ratings and shore staff before employment or promotion. The maritime resilience module measures what life on board actually demands: separation from family across long contracts, isolation tolerance when shore leave is denied, watchkeeping decision-making under commercial pressure, the courage to stop an unsafe cargo or mooring operation, multicultural crew dynamics, and disciplined social-media conduct — including whether a seafarer would post a vessel's position or cargo details online. Reports support crewing decisions, fitness-for-duty reviews and crew wellbeing programmes alongside MLC 2006 obligations.
Airlines and training organisations assess pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers and ground operations staff on fatigue management, crew resource management, authority-gradient behaviour and decision-making under pressure — the human factors that determine safety outcomes in flight operations.
Offshore and plant operators evaluate rotation resilience, hazardous-environment tolerance, permit-to-work discipline and the willingness to exercise Stop Work Authority under production pressure — for offshore crews, onshore plant personnel, QHSE professionals and site management.
Hospitals and healthcare providers screen doctors, nurses, paramedics and support staff for burnout resistance, empathy under pressure, clinical decision-making, moral resilience and digital professionalism — protecting both patients and practitioners.
Schools and universities assess teachers, heads, counsellors and support staff on safeguarding confidence, classroom resilience, burnout resistance and professional online boundaries with students.
Corporate HR teams use Sanemetrix for executives, managers, individual contributors and operations staff — leadership resilience, change-readiness, work-life sustainability and workplace conduct, for hiring and development alike.
Sanemetrix is an online psychometric assessment platform that evaluates personality (16-factor profile), industry-specific resilience, character strengths (VIA, 24 strengths across 6 virtues) and mental health (PHQ-9, GAD-7, CD-RISC) for hiring, promotion and fitness-for-duty decisions across the Maritime, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Education and Corporate sectors.
Yes. Sanemetrix's maritime edition assesses masters, officers, engineers, ratings and shore staff on seafaring-specific dimensions: separation from family, isolation tolerance, watchkeeping decisions under pressure, safety voice and stop-work courage, multicultural crew adaptability, emotional regulation in close quarters, and social-media conduct at sea. It is used by ship management companies and crewing agencies for pre-employment and promotion screening.
Four modules: a 160-item personality profile across 16 factors; 66 industry-resilience items across 11 sector-specific dimensions including Social Media & Digital Conduct; 72 VIA character-strength items covering all 24 strengths; and 25 clinical screening items (PHQ-9 depression, GAD-7 anxiety, CD-RISC resilience) with a dedicated self-harm indicator.
323 questions in about 60 to 80 minutes. Progress saves automatically, so candidates can pause and resume within their assessment window, and modules can be completed in any order.
Yes. It uses the internationally validated PHQ-9 (depression), GAD-7 (anxiety) and CD-RISC (psychological resilience) instruments with published clinical thresholds, plus a dedicated self-harm indicator. Elevated results trigger a recommendation for a clinical interview before any deployment decision; the screening supports but never replaces professional judgment.
As a decision-first clinical PDF report: a cover-page Decision Snapshot, an executive dashboard with a six-option determination, role-fit percentage against the specific role's ideal profile, a response-validity score, resilience and character-strength profiles, the mental-health screen, and an electronically signed assessor sign-off.
Yes. Every report carries the assessing psychologist's electronic signature and a QR code with a unique verification code. Scanning the QR (or entering the code on the platform) checks it against the stored assessment record and confirms the report is authentic and unaltered. Results are valid for six months from the date of assessment.
Candidates receive an email invitation with the platform link, their email as username and a secure 8-character access code. The assessment runs in any modern browser with no installation. Candidates can also message the assessor directly from their assessment screen.
